Andrés Argüello Guillén obtained the B.Sc. - Lic. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

Enroled in M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in Electrical Power Quality Data Analytics in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computation from the University of Campinas (FEEC UNICAMP, Sao Paulo, Brasil. (2016-2022)

Research associate in the EIE-UCR EPER-Lab.

IEEE Graduate Student Member.

His research interests include power quality, dynamic modeling and simulation, power system optimization, voltage control and design of distribution networks, renewable energy, geographical information systems and distributed generation.
